Frequently Asked Questions

Does this work with a Google review link?

Yes. Any web link works — a Google review link, a Kudo page, a form on your own site. The poster does not care where the code leads, and nothing is routed through us.

What size does it print at?

A4 or US Letter, at 150 dpi, which is well past what a QR code needs to scan and still prints crisply. Both sizes are drawn edge to edge, so print without scaling and without margins for the best result.

Will the code still work if I resize the poster?

Down to about a quarter of the page, yes — a phone camera reads this code from across a table. Below roughly 3 cm square it becomes unreliable, which is why the code takes up so much of the sheet.

Is anything I type here stored?

No. The poster is painted in your browser and there is no server behind it to send the link to. Like every page on this site we count the visit itself; we never see what you typed into it.

Why is there a small Kudo line at the bottom?

It is how a free tool with no signup pays for itself. It is one small line at the foot of the sheet, and it is the only thing we ask for.
