Custom requests with references, flash with prices, and reviews of healed work
Most tattoo DMs start with half an idea and a screenshot, then take five messages to find out the placement, the size and when. Kudo turns your bio link into one page: a request form that asks for the idea, the date they are hoping for and up to three reference photos; your available flash as cards with a starting price; your deposit policy; and your Google reviews underneath.
- A request form for custom work: the idea, placement and size, a date, up to three references
- Available flash as cards with a starting price and a button to your booking
- Your deposit and cancellation policy as its own link, right beside booking
- Google reviews underneath, and a review link to send once the piece has healed
A request, not a booking
The form collects what you need to decide whether to take a piece: what they want, where on the body and roughly how big in their own words, the date they are hoping for, and up to three reference images. Nothing is paid and nothing is confirmed. You read it, reply to the ones you want to draw, and send your own deposit link when you are ready. The free plan takes 20 requests a month.
Fresh ink photographs well. Healed ink is the proof.
Every tattoo looks sharp under wrap on the day it is done. What a new client wants to know is how your lines hold and your colour settles once it heals, and how you treat a nervous first-timer in the chair. Reviews from people who have lived with your work answer that, and on Kudo they sit under your flash and your request form instead of on a profile the client has to go and find.
Ask when it has healed
Asking at the end of the session gets a review about the session. Ask a few weeks later, when you would check in on the healing anyway: send your review link in that message. What they write then is about the tattoo they will live with, which is the review a stranger actually wants to read.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can clients pay a deposit through the request form?
No. Kudo never takes payment. A request is only a request: when you accept one, send the client your own deposit link — your booking app, Square or whatever you already use — and the money goes straight to you.
I work out of a shop. Whose reviews go on my page?
Your page is yours. Collect reviews of your own work through your own Kudo review link and QR code. If you have your own Google Business Profile, search for it in Kudo and those reviews come in and keep syncing too.
Is it free?
Yes to start: the page, unlimited links, flash cards, the request form, the review link and QR code, Google review import and 5 published reviews cost nothing. Pro adds page themes, photo reviews, shows which link gets tapped and removes the Kudo badge.
